Grass Fed Lamb

Our farm is a pasture based operation.  From day one all that our lambs eat is their mother's milk, fresh green grass and hay.  Never any added growth hormones or grain.

White Dorper Sheep

White Dorpers are a breed of hair sheep developed in South Africa.  The "wool" produced by hair sheep sheds naturally in late spring/ early summer and has no commercial value.  These sheep do not need to be sheared regularly as wool breeds do.  They are a hybrid of the Black-headed Persian, another hair sheep breed and the familiar Dorset.  This cross produces a hardy hairy sheep that is very meaty and grows well on a grass based diet.

White dorper lambs grow quickly.  This breed produces well developed market weight lambs of 80 pounds in 12 to 14 weeks.
