Specialty Game Birds and Waterfowl

Variety is the spice of life.  We raise a variety of poultry for the discerning gourmet palette.  Each breed has its own unique flavors.

Heritage Breed Turkeys

Our heritage breed turkeys rule the farm.  Their wild nature and independent spirit allows them to roam wherever they please.  We have a variety of breeds such as Blue Slate, Standard Bronze,  Narragansette and Heritage White.  Each breed has their own unique qualities.  We offer these birds dressed at Thanksgiving and Christmas.  During the summer we also sell a select number of poults and sub-adults as breeding stock.

Place your order in the spring and get photo updates as your bird grows.

Ducks and Geese

While turkeys have wonderful white meat, ducks and geese are all about rich succulent dark meat.  Bring back the English tradition of the Christmas goose.  We also have gourmet Appleyard ducks known for their large succulent breasts and flavorful meat.  Ducks and geese are available in the fall.  Duck eggs for specialty baking are available in the spring and young ducks and geese for breeding stock are available spring and summer.

Specialty Poultry

Partridge, Quail and Guinea Fowl

Each breed has its own unique flavor.  Couturnix or Japanese Quail are rich and succulent.  Guinea Fowl or "French Hens" are all dark meat with a rich "gamey" flavor.  Chuckar Partrigde have a light delicate flavor.
